My name is Ginny Whitton and I am an independent Educational Psychologist, working across the Cotswolds and Southwest.
I am a chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Educational psychologists work together with parents and schools to help children and young people improve their experiences of learning and their overall wellbeing.
We use our training in psychology and knowledge of child development to find out more about children’s strengths and any difficulties they may be experiencing.
I believe every child should have the opportunity to experience success, feel confident in themselves and achieve their potential.
I work with children and young people to find out more about how they learn, identify their strengths and build on these to help support any difficulties.
I believe in working together with everyone involved (parents, school, educational settings and other professionals) to develop a shared understanding of the situation and lasting solutions.
I am passionate about psychology and making a difference in children's and young people's lives.
